Who we are

AI WebAsha is operated by WebAsha Technologies, [Registered office address, Pune, Maharashtra, India — PIN — TO BE REVIEWED]. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, password hash, learning level and language), learning activity (lessons, lab progress, quiz and exam results, AI tutor conversations and memory you choose to keep), payment records (plan, amount, Razorpay order and payment IDs; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details), and technical data (IP address, browser and anonymous page-view events) for security and to improve the service.

How we use it

To provide and personalise courses, labs and the AI tutor; to process payments and issue invoices; to keep the platform secure and prevent abuse; to answer support requests; and, with your consent, to send updates about courses. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

Your tutor questions may be sent to an AI model provider to generate answers. We send only what is needed to answer and do not allow providers to use it to train their models where that option is available.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, payment processing by Razorpay, AI model providers, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Lab machines and their files are temporary and are deleted when the session ends.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by writing to [support email — TO BE REVIEWED, e.g. [email protected]]. You may also download or clear your AI memory from the Memory page. Grievance Officer: [name — TO BE REVIEWED], [support email — TO BE REVIEWED, e.g. [email protected]].
